Today's races, both of which were sprints, and the latter one being a WRE, took place today in Guangzhou. The Huangpu Ancient Port set the venue for the morning race and Haizhu Wetland Park for the afternoon respectively. As you can see from the maps, it was two quite different types of sprints.

The Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering Championship was concluded today with 2 races.
The Guangdong Historical Road Orienteering Championship was concluded today with two quite different races that were ran in the Huangpu Ancient Port and Haizhu Wetland Park in Guangzhou. The wins today went to runners from China, Denmark, Norway and New Zealand.
Among men, todays biggest success was Tim Robertson (NZL), who – after 4th and 3rd positions on earlier races – continued his upward trend by first claiming the 2nd position in the morning and then ending up with a victory on the last race later on the afternoon.
The winner in the morning was Soren Bobach (DEN)
Among women, it was Jiayi Zheng of China, who beat all the rest in the first race. What an impressive performance from this young Chinese talent.
In the afternoon, Lone Brochmann (NOR) claimed the victory.
